It’s taking me a while to get these online, it’s been a busy few weeks! Nonetheless, now is the time to introduce these lovely babies along with their litter numbers and nicknames.
Interestingly, as they developed they all ended up being top-ears. Given Dude was a Dumbo, Mocha must not have had a recessive copy of Dumbo. This does mean all these babies will carry the recessive, unexpressed Dumbo gene.
Female, black eye, top-ear. Nicknamed after the Ash River on Vancouver island, home of the Ash River Generation Station built in 1958.
Female, black eye, top-ear, taken. Nicknamed after the Bella Coola River, that forms the northern boundary of the Pacific Ranges.
Male, hooded cream, black eye, top ear. A keeper named after the massive Alsek River that travels from BC to Alaska and is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Female, agouti/grey hooded, black-eye, top ear. A keeper named after the Besa River that flows through the beautiful Muskwa Ranges.
Female, cream hooded, red-eye, top ear. Nicknamed after the Chilko River from the interior of BC.
Female, cream hooded, red-eye, top ear. Nicknamed after the Eve River near the Junction Pool Recreation Site on Vancouver Island.
Female, cream hooded, red-eye, top ear. Nicknamed after the Koeye River that originates in the Pacific Ranges of the Coast Mountains.
Female, taken cream hooded, red-eye, top ear. Nicknamed after the Lillooet River through the Coast Mountains.
Female, taken, cream hooded, dark red-eye, top ear. Named after the Murtle River that flows from the Cariboo Mountains.
Female, cream hooded, black-eyed, top ear, taken. Named after the Nakina River in Northwestern BC from Atlin Lake.
