Adam Laats is a historian of US education--studies the history of conflict and consensus about schools. Books include The Other School Reformers (Harvard UP 2015); Fundamentalist U (Oxford UP 2018); Creationism USA (Oxford UP 2020). Teaches at Binghamton University SUNY.
