Born in Memphis, childhood in Germantown, spent 12 years in Omaha, Nebraska, adult life in Nashville since 2008. Mom, writer. I follow Metro Council, MNPS, and TN politics. Love public infrastructure (mostly in other places where it’s better) known to rant at length about gun violence, and lack of sidewalks/public transit, and I get real feisty about stupid speeding cars in Nashville. Voted Michael Dukakis at my elementary school presidential election in 2nd grade and I stand by my choice.
