My name is David. I was raised in Oregon and had a career in NYC. I now work and live in Berlin and recently became a German citizen. I generally post cranky comments about politics. But my primary interest is philosophy, specifically Neoplatonism and German Idealism. I am always happy to talk about Plato, Plotinus, Hegel, Schopenhauer and Nietzsche. I enjoy travel in France, Scotland and Central Europe.
