About Dr Dimitra Gkatzia

I am an Associate Professor of Computing at Edinburgh Napier University. I'm interested in exploring data-driven #NaturalLanguageGeneration (NLG) for #lowresource domains/languages as well as #HumanRobotInteraction, and the interplay between various modalities (vision, speech, knowledge-bases) in real-world settings. I am the co-lead of the SICSA AI Theme and served on the #SIGGEN board between 2016 - 2020. At Napier, I am currently leading the #NaturalLanguageProcessing Group.
