About Wim Joosten - Elaltitan

Elaltitan is an extinct genus of large lithostrotian titanosaur sauropod dinosaur, known from the southern Argentina. However, as a musician Elaltitan is using field recordings, samples and electronic devices to create dark ambient soundscapes, under the banner: 'Low frequencies keep me alive.' He investigates the boundaries of volume and density in the sonic worlds of ambient, drone, doom, noise and minimalism.
